Training and playing? Yes. At the Albacete Youth Center, Dramblys association in collaboration with GATES project partners (The Young Foundation, InterMedi@KT and Fundacja Autokreacja) has trained a group of young Europeans in social entrepreneurship using creative and game-based methodologies.
From February 25th to March 1st at the Albacete Youth Center, the association “DRAMBLYS: Social Creativity Lab” has facilitated the 5-day workshop “GATES. Strengthening competencies for social entrepreneurship through games-based training”. This training action was aimed exclusively at young people between 18 and 23 years old.
During the workshop the participants have seen and known more in detail about the social entrepreneurship. Development of skills related to empowerment and employability has been deepened as well.
Young participants have learned what it takes to become a social entrepreneurs and to achieve this goal, different methodologies based on games and creativity have been usedapplied, such as DesignThinking and LegoSeriousPlay.
During the training, they have also been able to meet local agents who work within the ecosystem of social entrepreneurship and have shared experiences with other young people from Poland and Greece.
It has also been an opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship from a social perspective.
The workshop has been facilitated by Dramblys and is part of the an European project coordinated by “Fundacja Autokreacja” (Poland). This training action has been financed within the framework of the ERASMUS+ Program (Strategic Partnership in the field of Youth), of the European Commission.
